from 328 reviewsBought my Tilt roughly a year ago and it has been amazing. Rides great, feels great and looks great! Tamed the trails of Moab! I don't think you'll be disappointed with a Canfield purchase.
This is a really nice hardtail. The headtube, bb, and brake mounts are all machined flat and Canfield's translucent finish is really mezmerizing. There is some brushed aluminum that glints through the finish and the Canfield headtube badge contrasts with this color nicely. All the bottle bosses come in handy when you don't want to wear a hydration pack. I paired mine with a Fox 36 Performance shortened to 130mm. It is a nice stiff combo with point and shoot handling.
After speaking to Lance and doing a demo ride at Outerbike, I ordered the Lithium in large. The staff answered when I called with questions and emails were answered the next day. The build was straightforward, I had all the tools. This bike pedals extremely smooth and efficiently, better than all the other long travel bikes that I demo'd. Going down, it floats over the rough stuff. Zero frame flex. I'm a true believer in the CBF! Thanks to the entire Canfield crew for putting out a great product and quick responses to all questions!
The Jedi is a machine. It is the best iteration to date of the Jedi. The suspension design is able to run WFO! Pick your compression settings to suit your style. It’s not afraid to jump, as a racer just carry your speed. The bb is low so run the bars the same and it will chase corners all day 🤘
Burly and gets the job done. Excellent solution for those who desire short cranks
Love these pedals. Great colors, very sticky and convex profile so you can more easily move your feet. They are also easy to take apart and easy to service. Quality product from a quality brand.
This bike is so versatile and has eaten up everything that I’ve thrown at it - so much so that my Balance and Jedi are collecting dust…. It climbs. It pedals. It descends. Everything. To top it off, Canfield’s customer service is the absolute best!
My Lithium is a great match for the chunky, janky desert trails of western Colorado and Utah. The Canfield crew helped me customize my build with interesting components and personalized recommendations. I appreciate that they do things a bit differently and don’t follow every passing trend. The Lithium has held its own on bike park days and big alpine missions, in addition to being a daily-driver in the desert. Sweet rig!
I absolutely love these pedals! I’ve been riding them for about 9 years now, and they’re incredibly durable. They’re super thin, light, strong, sticky, and wide—basically everything you need in a pedal! I’ve had them on my MTB ebike, DH bike, trail bike, and dirt jump bike, and they always outperform anything else out there. The service is a breeze too—after around 3k miles, all I need are some basic tools and I don't usually have to replace the internals. As long as you keep grease inside, these pedals will last forever! I've been a Canfield fan for a long time, and these are hands down my favorite flat pedals for all-around riding!
Love my nimble niner, I have it set at the shortest chainstay and it rips! Can go down anything and climb back up to do it all over again!
I purchased this frame to replace a full suspension bike. I wanted to see what an aggressive hardtail would be like on my local trails. Wow... This frames geometry opened my eyes! The slack head tube angle and steep seat tube has enabled me to climb and disend some really technical trails. I would say this frame really excels at rocky technical climbs. The paint on this frame is absolutely beautiful. After a year of riding somehow I only have one small paint chip from a rock strike.
I purchased the Balance frame 2 years ago
and never wrote a review before. It isn't my primary trail bike, but I do ride it often. It is set up with a Zeb set at 170mm and does feel well balanced 😀 there. I purchased the frame with a DVO Topaz air shock. What I found, and have come to love about the bike, is the CBF. This thing pedals so well and really feels like you are pedaling a bike much lighter than it actually is. If you are unsure of buying a Canfield, find a way to test ride one.
I love the Canfield Crampon pedals so much, I have them on all of my mountain bikes. They are grippy, feel good on my feet and are so thin that pedal strikes are rare. When I need new pedals, there’s no shopping around. The only decision is which color to select!
The one.2 I had ordered as a complete DH Bike. I rode it as a DH for a while. However, this bike is incredibly easy to climb with! I outfit the Bike with a single crown EXT era2.1 LT and swapped out the drive train. This Frame is a real slayer of gravity, and climbs like a champ!
Yep, that's the deal. Canfield had the concept of the convex pedal figured out over a decade ago and still makes the best pedal out there. I've gotten so bored with how much better their pedals are that I've tried a bunch of other pedals over the years and always end up coming back to the Crampon.
Especially for the sale price, just buy a pair today and use all of the time you just saved not reading endless reviews shredding something rad.
