The Evolution of Revolution.

Light enough for all-mountain and trail riding, tough enough for downhill, we wanted a crank that would be perfect on any bike in the stable and offer a competitive advantage while looking good. Backed by years of real-world abuse, our cranks have earned a reputation for unmatched durability.

We've been perfecting short cranks longer than anyone, delivering a low-profile aluminum crankset with industry-leading strength-to-weight and the shortest lengths available. In line with the forward thinking of our ultra-thin Crampon pedal series,

Canfield AM Cranks offer forged aluminum cranks in lengths all the way down to 150-millimeters. Why? Clearance is just the beginning.

Shorter cranks boost pedaling efficiency by reducing dead spots and keeping you in the power zone longer. They promote a more natural pedal stroke, reduce joint fatigue, and help you clean tight technical moves without pedal strikes.

From the gravel grinding to the rock garden, shorter cranks simply work better.

Available in flat black and NEW silver anodized finish's with raised polished external ribbing that prevents the heel rub and wear typical of most cranks. Canfield Cranks—the evolution of revolution.

Five stars – why can’t all companies have similar information on their

I picked up a used tilt earlier this year. After riding a few rock trails with 170 cranks I thought I’d try a shorter set. The 160s arrived yesterday. The instructions on the website are clear and straightforward. (ditto for the bottom bracket installation instructions). I’m riding the tilt has basically cross country bike on some of the rocky trails in Western Maryland. The shorter cranks seem to make a difference- much fewer pedal strikes. The installation instructions are very clear and the cranks do what they’re supposed to do. Highly recommend.

Hey Reutebh,

That’s a solid setup.

Stoked to hear the 160s made a difference, especially on those rocky trails. Cutting down pedal strikes is exactly where shorter cranks shine.

Really glad the install process was smooth and easy to follow too. We put a lot into making sure riders can get up and running without the guesswork.

Appreciate you sharing your experience, the detailed feedback, and the support. Enjoy the ride!

Great cranks!

Lance and the crew don't make stuff they wouldn't ride themselves. I bought these cranks to keep my knees from blowing up and I can already tell they're the right size. Not only that, but they are solid and super stylie!

Hey Joe,

Glad to hear the cranks are working out and keeping your knees happy! Stoked they’re feeling solid and looking good too.

Thanks for riding Canfield and sharing the love. Cheers!

Fresh install

Just finished my first ride with the new crank. I love it! I'm 5'5 and bought the 155mm. Game changer. Super solid hardware

Hi Ryan,

Right on. The 155mm cranks are a great fit for riders in that range, and it’s awesome to hear they’re already feeling dialed and a game changer on the first ride. Appreciate the nod on the solid hardware as well. Thanks for the support and enjoy putting more miles on them.

Canfield 150 mm Cranks

Just got in my third ride with the Canfield Cranks.
What I noticed so far is:
Cornering feels safer
Riding is a lot more comfortable
It is far easier to pedal through rock gardens and ledges.
The rider quickly adapts to shorter crank lengths, and the cranks themselves are not noticeably different when pedaling.
What I don’t notice is:
Hip pain
Knee pain
Pedal strikes
This is not a cheap upgrade, but so far on my Giant X Advanced Pro 29er it is worth every penny.

Hi Randy,

Awesome to hear the Canfield cranks are making your rides more comfortable and confident! Those rock gardens and ledges don’t stand a chance when you’re dialed in like that. Glad to know the shorter length is working seamlessly and keeping the aches away. Thanks for sharing your experience — it means a lot. Cheers!

Look great and work even better! This is my 5th set of Canfield cranks

Look great and work even better! This is my 5th set of Canfield cranks. Shorter cranks for the whole family. The new silver color is popp’n!

Hey Punkmundy,

5th set - now that’s commitment! That might qualify as a family tradition at this point. Really appreciate the continued support.

Stoked to hear the whole crew is running shorter cranks, and glad the new silver is hitting the mark. That finish definitely pops in the sunlight.

Thanks again for riding Canfield!

The product you offer is unique and met our needs exactly

The product you offer is unique and met our needs exactly. Lance was very helpful in making sure I was ordering the right thing. Even after 35+ years of biking I cant keep with all the BB variations, the advice was comforting.

Hi Jim,
Thanks for taking the time to leave a review. stoked the AM Cranks were exactly what you needed and that Lance could help get you dialed. Appreciate the support and hope you enjoy many more rides on them. Cheers!

The importance of customer service

Incredible customer service was what made me ultimately go with Canfield when trying out shorter cranks. With all the different standards and then the minutia around chainline, I didn't want to screw things up or spend hours doing research to make sure everything was perfect. They were very responsive and helpful to make sure everything worked perfectly the first time.

Hey Corey,

Stoked to hear we could help get everything dialed from the start. Thank you for the kind words and for sharing your experience — we really appreciate it!
