The Evolution of Revolution. Light enough for all-mountain and trail riding, tough enough for downhill, we wanted a crank that would be perfect on any bike in the stable and offer a competitive advantage while looking good. Backed by years of real-world abuse, our cranks have earned a reputation for unmatched durability. We've been perfecting short cranks longer than anyone, delivering a low-profile aluminum crankset with industry-leading strength-to-weight and the shortest lengths available. In line with the forward thinking of our ultra-thin Crampon pedal series, Canfield AM Cranks offer forged aluminum cranks in lengths all the way down to 150-millimeters. Why? Clearance is just the beginning. Shorter cranks boost pedaling efficiency by reducing dead spots and keeping you in the power zone longer. They promote a more natural pedal stroke, reduce joint fatigue, and help you clean tight technical moves without pedal strikes. From the gravel grinding to the rock garden, shorter cranks simply work better. Available in flat black and silver anodized finish's with raised polished external ribbing that prevents the heel rub and wear typical of most cranks. Canfield Cranks—the evolution of revolution.

Amazing cranks for stumpy legs, great customer service too

These cranks have been a revelation for me - affordable, burly 150mm cranks have genuinely transformed the way the bike feels.

I've got very short legs for my height, and have always struggled with feeling in control of the bike. Dropping from 165mm to these 150mm cranks feels amazing, and they look sick too 🤘🏽I got silver arms with the orange chainring.

Massive shout out to the customer service as well - from initial enquiries about BB compatibility and sizing up until after delivery, Lance and Lester have been responsive, friendly and helpful at every turn, even with shipping to the UK.

Super-happy with the decision to choose these cranks, strong recommend 🤘🏽

Hey Mike,

This totally made our day. So glad to hear the 150s are working out for you—that’s exactly what we love to hear. Silver cranks with the orange ring? Straight-up rad. Big thanks for the shoutout on the support too. It was a blast helping you get dialed, and we’re beyond stoked on this review. Appreciate you flying the Canfield flag in the UK. Keep charging!

Love them!

They were worth the wait. The cranks and bb are high quality, look awesome on my bike and I am loving the short arm length. Not a bad price either compared to other 155mm options. Highly recommend.

An awesome alternative to shorter cranks available.

They look amazing. They are well built. It is taking me sometime to get used to it. I'm not bashing my cranks anymore. Will update once I have more time on it.

Hey Chee,
Glad to hear you’re liking the cranks so far—and nice to hear the pedal strikes are gone! Totally get that it takes a bit to get used to. Keep us posted once you’ve had more time on the bike. Keep Pedaling!

Great for knee pain!

I have shorter legs (30” inseam) I’ve been fighting patellar tendon pain for quite a few years. The folks at Canfield recommended 160mm cranks. I bought a set and installed them. Within a month my knee pain was much much less. They are good quality but you’ll likely need to swap your bottom bracket as well.

Hey Joshua,
Really appreciate you sharing this and we’re stoked to hear the shorter cranks are helping ease the knee pain. That’s exactly why we offer short crank options. Riding should feel good, and it means a lot knowing we could help make that happen. Thanks for trusting us with your setup!

Best short crank option?

Not many options for shorter crank arm lengths. I’ve decided this was the one to try. They look great. Good people to deal with too.

Hey E.W.,
Thanks for the kind words—and for trusting us with your short crank experiment! Stoked you’re digging the look and the experience. Appreciate you rolling with us!
