The Evolution of Revolution—Built for Gravity.

Born on the steeps and tested on the gnarliest lines, Canfield DH Cranks are built to handle full-tilt downhill abuse without flinching. We set out to create a crank that delivers maximum strength, uncompromising durability, and improved clearance—all while looking fast standing still.

Backed by years of real-world punishment, our cranks have earned a reputation for unmatched reliability. We’ve been perfecting short cranks longer than anyone, delivering a low-profile aluminum design with the shortest lengths in the game and industry-leading strength-to-weight.

Inspired by the forward-thinking design of our Crampon pedals, Canfield DH Cranks are forged for maximum impact resistance and available in lengths down to 150 millimeters. Why so short? Because shorter cranks mean fewer pedal strikes, better ground clearance, and more control in high-consequence terrain. They also allow for a more compact riding position, keeping your center of gravity low and stable when the trail gets steep and loose.

Available in flat black and silver anodized finishes, each arm features raised polished ribbing to reduce heel rub and stand up to seasons of abuse. Canfield DH Cranks—designed to take the hits and keep charging.

The product you offer is unique and met our needs exactly

The product you offer is unique and met our needs exactly. Lance was very helpful in making sure I was ordering the right thing. Even after 35+ years of biking I cant keep with all the BB variations, the advice was comforting.

Hi Jim,
Thanks for taking the time to leave a review. stoked the AM Cranks were exactly what you needed and that Lance could help get you dialed. Appreciate the support and hope you enjoy many more rides on them. Cheers!

The importance of customer service

Incredible customer service was what made me ultimately go with Canfield when trying out shorter cranks. With all the different standards and then the minutia around chainline, I didn't want to screw things up or spend hours doing research to make sure everything was perfect. They were very responsive and helpful to make sure everything worked perfectly the first time.

Hey Corey,

Stoked to hear we could help get everything dialed from the start. Thank you for the kind words and for sharing your experience — we really appreciate it!

High Quality product, high quality service, and high quality company

This is the second set of Canfield cranks that I've ordered for a bike I'm building. I bought these because the first set were extremely high quality, easy to install, and supported by a great company. They have moved across multiple bikes and are still awesome! The team at Canfield is quick to answer questions and genuinely care about their customers and supporting the hobby we all love.

Hi Brett,

Thanks so much for the kind words! Love hearing that the cranks are still crushing it and that the team could help along the way. Thanks again for trusting Canfield, and happy riding!

Beautifully crafted crankset

Currently in the process of a new bipod and wanted to include some Canfield parts. Having built a Nimble Nine up in the past and having really enjoyed the bike, I wanted to support the company going forward. Lance was beyond helpful with directing me towards the parts I would need to properly work with my new build. He even called me directly to discuss chainring offsets. Couldn’t recommend Canfield enough. No gimmicks, just quality bikes and parts built for riders.

Hi Zachary,
Thanks for sharing your experience! Nothing makes us happier than seeing riders put together perfectly tuned builds with Canfield parts — built for riders, by riders. We really appreciate your support, and LC always loves helping customers get their builds dialed. We’re stoked to be part of your new bike project!

Beautiful cranks and great service

Beautiful cranks and great service. Not many companies like this left. If you want shorter cranks, this is the way.

I can't find any faults with the cranks

I can't find any faults with the cranks themselves. They appear well constructed. I an 5ft7 with a 30 inch inseam. I went with the 150. I thought I got the 160 but apparently went all in and got the 150. After a single ride they are noticeable but also nothing I think I will regret. It's now time for the bike to sit for the winter so I'm very curious how they will feel in the spring. They were straightforward to install, just make sure your BB tool is the correct size.

Hi Scott!
Thanks for taking the time to drop such a thoughtful review. The 150s definitely have their own feel, but it sounds like you’re settling into them nicely. Stoked to hear the install went smooth on your end too.
Enjoy the off-season — we’re pumped to hear how they feel once you’re back out riding in spring. Welcome to the Canfield family!
