29" OR MX WHEELS // 141MM REAR // 140MM FRONT

We didn't fix what wasn't broken. We made it adjustable. There's a party on the trails and you're invited. The Tilt is an efficient all-rounder that climbs like a mountain goat with a meth habit. But make no mistake — like any bike with a skull on the headtube, it's ready to party when gravity takes over. ★ Tilt V2 — Singletracks Bike of the Year 2024

V3 Tilt Features

  • UDH compatible rear triangle
  • Adjustable rear travel via shock stroke — no frame hardware changes required. Three options, one frame.
  • Three chainstay positions (427 / 435 / 442mm) — move the dropout, change the handling. Head angle, seat angle, and stack stay constant. You're tuning character, not geometry.
  • Mullet compatible — run 29" or MX (27.5" rear) wheelset with ease
  • Recommended fork: 130–150mm (optimized around 140mm) — a 130mm fork sharpens the climbing feel; 150mm adds confidence on steeper terrain. Geometry stays within the intended window either way.
  • Patented Canfield Balance Formula™ (CBF™) suspension — ~120% anti-squat keeps you moving efficiently without locking out, while the axle path and anti-rise are tuned so the bike squats and dives in sync. The result: a platform that pedals honestly and descends without drama.
  • 7005 aluminum frame with CNC 7075 T6 links
  • Internal cable routing
  • Forged clamshell bottom bracket assembly
  • One-piece upper and lower links
  • Custom CBF Chainstay Protector
  • Water bottle mount
  • 73mm threaded bottom bracket
  • Boost 148x12mm rear axle (Canfield axle included)
  • Tapered headtube: 44mm upper / 56mm lower
  • 30.9mm seatpost, stealth dropper compatible
  • Seatpost clamp: 35mm
  • Rear tire clearance: 82mm
  • Removable ISCG-05 tabs
  • Post Mount 180mm brake
Rear Travel — Your Call
  • 210x55mm → 141mm  Maximum plushness for aggressive terrain
  • 210x52.5mm → 135mm  The all-mountain sweet spot
  • 210x50mm → 128mm  Snappier, XC-influenced feel for faster days

Swap the shock, not the frame. All three options run the same hardware.

My New Favorite

The Tilt punches far above its weight. I can't rave enough about this bike. I've never had a full suspension bike that does everything so well. My last couple bikes have been slightly longer travel enduros, but this Tilt still descends more confidently. And freakishly enough, it climbs like a 25 pound cross country race bike. Complete voodoo magic! I'm so glad I pulled the trigger on this one. Canfield is a great company to deal with and this bike is fantastic!

Hey Louis,

Pumped the Tilt is exceeding expectations for you!

“Complete voodoo magic” is one of the best descriptions of the bike we’ve heard. Climbs way better than it should and still charges hard on the descents.

Really appreciate the support and the kind words about the team. Welcome to the Canfield family!

LEGENDARY

This bike outperforms anything I've ever ridden. The aluminum frame is durable. The geometry and rear suspension are dialed. A ton of thought and testing went into this bike. The buying experience was special. Great people. This bike is so fast and fun. I'm in love. Looks sharp too! Canfields are not like the rest.

Hey Hunter,

This absolutely fired us up. Thank you!

“Holds nothing back” is exactly what the Tilt was built to do. Lance put a ton of time into getting that balance of speed, support, playfulness, and confidence just right, so hearing it’s outperforming everything else you’ve ridden means a lot to us.

Really appreciate the kind words about the buying experience too. We’re just riders building bikes we believe in, and reviews like this keep us going.

Stoked you’re loving the bike and welcome to the Canfield family!

This Tilt rips!

This bike is so much fun!
Wants to go fast fast fast!
Been riding hardtails for years,so a big change for me and I love it!
Thank you to Lance and Melissa for helping me get the ride I wanted great customer service!

Hey Jesse,

This is awesome to hear. The Tilt was built to be pushed, and it sounds like you’re putting it to work right out of the gate.

Big respect making the switch from hardtail life too, that’s a whole new level of fun unlocked. Appreciate the kind words and support, enjoy every lap!

Awesome Bike, Awesome Company

I’ve waited to leave a review until I had some proper sear time. This bike is a rocket. Climbs really well, especially up chunky features and descends like a longer travel bike. Really enjoy how snappy it is on desert XC and capability in the Souther Arizona mountains. Can’t wait to put more miles on it! Company is also fantastic to purchase from, making sure you select the correct build and are very responsive. I think I know where I’m going when it’s time to replace my 180mm bike!

Hey Cameron,

Sounds like you’ve got the Tilt exactly where it shines. Fast, capable, and just as happy climbing as it is charging down. That’s a solid review, and glad you gave it some real seat time before weighing in. Appreciate the kind words about the team, and the support and trust in the process. We’ll be here when that 180mm slot opens up. Ride on!!

Best All Mountain Bike Money Can Buy

Are you looking for a mountain bike that can only do one specific discipline well? If so then this is not the bike for you. I bought my Tilt a few seasons ago and it's been by far the best bike I've ever owned. I work in the bike industry so I normally upgrade to a new bike every season or 2, but I've had no desire to buy a new bike after building this thing up. It handles everything you throw at it. It is by far the most nimble 29er I've ever ridden. It climbs extremely well, and with the CBF platform I don't even lock my rear shock out and it maintains efficiency. I have mine set up as a 138/150 and it descends like a 170 without the bulk. For as short as the chainstay and wheelbase are, it's relatively grounded, but can be maneuvered with ease with the flick of a pinky. If you're doing predominant bike park I would opt for the Lithium, but if you want an overall great climber and descender with the ability to do a few park days in the mix, then this bike is the definite option for you! (For reference I live in Colorado and my main riding spots are Floyd Hill, Rutabaga, White Ranch, Virginia Canyon, and some Trestle)

The only thing better than the bike is the customer service, it's easy to tell that the folks at Canfield genuinely care about rider experience and feedback. As far as a company that designs bikes by real riders, for real riders, these guys take the cake.

Hey River,

Stoked reading this! 🔥 Sounds like your Tilt has become a permanent upgrade. Coming from someone in the bike industry who normally upgrades every season or two, that’s incredible to hear. Huge props to you for saying it’s been by far the best bike you’ve ever owned. You nailed it with that 138/150 setup and hearing it climbs like a champ without touching the lockout really makes us proud.

Really appreciate the shoutout to our team for the service. We ride, we build, we tweak, so knowing it shows on your end means a lot. Keep shredding those Colorado trails. Cheers!!!

Beautiful bike; great customer service

Beautiful bike, well packed & shipped quickly. The customer service has been great so far! It's nice to do business with a company that takes pride in not only their fine product but the satisfaction of their customer

Hey Kerry,

This bike does it all

If you can only have one bike, the Tilt is the bike for you. It’s smooth in the rough stuff and carves singletrack twisties like a Ginsu.

Hi Todd,

Thanks for sharing! Sounds like the Tilt is putting in work on every trail you throw at it. Nothing better than a bike that can do it all — smooth on the rough stuff and playful through the twisty singletrack. Keep having fun out there!

The Last One

I like bikes, especially unique ones, like the Tilt.
I have several nice bikes, but this one is the one. I named it the last one.

Thank you for helping me see the light.

Hi Todd,

“The last one” — we love it! Stoked to hear the Tilt has earned that title. Thanks for sharing. Hearing it’s the bike that stands out among your fleet is exactly why we build them, and we’re thrilled we could help you see the light! Thank you for choosing Canfield, and welcome to the family!
