29" WHEELS // HARDTAIL // 150MM FRONT

The original hardcore hardtail. Handcrafted in small batches, the Canfield Bikes Nimble 9 is a steel hardtail built to get rowdy. Combining the revered ride quality of 4130 chromoly steel with aggressive all-mountain geometry, the Nimble 9 challenges preconceptions of mountain bikes with both big wheels and rigid rear-ends.

Singlespeed build

I watched a lot of videos and reviews and could not be happier with my purchase. Very light for a steel frame, and extremely responsive.

Rolls fast, corners faster

Best cornering bike I have ever ridden. Excellent climbing characteristics and carries speed well. Superb design aesthetics too. All in all a perfect mountain bike.

Awesome Bike!

This bike has been my favorite, I prefer it over my ripmo and spearfish bikes for all my local riding. It's set up 140 mm up front, and singlespeed. With the chainstay slammed, it fits a 2.30 Maxxis Aggressor easily. The sliding dropouts were a little tricky for me to center, but I figured them out and they have been solid for the past 1000 miles. It climbs Norcal single and double track nicely, and goes down anything I can ride on my big bike-though not as fast of course. A great bike.

Nimble 9er

Love my nimble niner, I have it set at the shortest chainstay and it rips! Can go down anything and climb back up to do it all over again!

Beautiful frame! The galaxy black looks amazing in the sun. Rides nice and smooth. I love how capable it is without having overly gnarly geo. Did a quick build with parts I already had, but I can’t wait to try it out fully built up as. I want it!
