Meet the new maniac on the mountain. Designed to destroy big descents with reckless abandon, unafraid of the effort required to earn them. From enduro stages to bike park laps and backcountry adventures, the Lithium is a big-wheeled warrior ready for anything the mountain throws your way.
I’m very impressed with the quality of the Lithium frame. Haven’t had a chance to build it up yet. It’s winter here in Canada but am stoked to get it ready for spring riding. The Gnarigold colour looks even better in person, very impressed with the finish of the frame. This is my second Canfield. I had a 2016 Balance. Rode that for three seasons. Best bike I’ve ridden. Should’ve never sold it. Can’t wait to get this out on the trail.
I have a Canfield Lithium with Olhins TTX22 rear and RXF38 front: at now suspension are all good for my taste, really shine at high speed (note that I have removed the spacer in the negative chamber, making the fork smoother). And the frame is what I was looking for: I had a balance before and wanted to keep agility and fun on top of priority list, even with 29er: it is really perfect for this!
I have owned several Canfields over the year. Riot/Toir, 3 generations of Balance, and Tilt. The Lithium is my favorite. The geometry is dialed for carving corners with confidence. The suspension feels supple and plush without sacrificing the support and responsiveness needed to play on trail features. The only thing left on my wish list: Carbon version someday?
Awesome bike and awesome company. First new mountain bike in a very long time and I'm glad I went with Canfield. It was great chatting with the team before it was assembled. They were interested in the type of riding I'd be doing which was cool. They built it quickly but really well. Since acquiring the bike, they have answered questions like true bike geeks, which is what I hoped. Bike is fantastic. Lots of miles already but no issues. I feel confident with it at the bike park, North East chunk and local trails. Light but strong. Really neat bike.
When I bought my Lithium, I already had a One.2. My initial plan was to short stroke the shock and fork to make it more of an all mountain bike. Then I put it together and rode it at its full travel and realized that I don't need to. This bike pedals so well that I can't imagine wanting less suspension travel. I am the only limitation on climbs.
When it comes time to head back down the hill, hang on. This bike is so much fun. Fast and flowy, tight and technical, steep and rocky - this bike loves it all. Canfield has created an amazing bike. Somehow at the same time this bike is ready to change directions at will and then charge into the next rock garden.
The Lithium is by far my favorite bike. It's the first bike I reach for 90% of the time. I've been very happy with my purchase.
This bike rides amazingly well. It handles everything I’ve thrown at it on the descents and climbs much better than I expected! It really is a great bike for burly trail riding with the occasional park day thrown in.
After speaking to Lance and doing a demo ride at Outerbike, I ordered the Lithium in large. The staff answered when I called with questions and emails were answered the next day. The build was straightforward, I had all the tools. This bike pedals extremely smooth and efficiently, better than all the other long travel bikes that I demo'd. Going down, it floats over the rough stuff. Zero frame flex. I'm a true believer in the CBF! Thanks to the entire Canfield crew for putting out a great product and quick responses to all questions!
This bike is so versatile and has eaten up everything that I’ve thrown at it - so much so that my Balance and Jedi are collecting dust…. It climbs. It pedals. It descends. Everything. To top it off, Canfield’s customer service is the absolute best!
