BREAK-IN PERIOD: New or freshly serviced Canfield Crampon pedals may spin more slowly at first. This is normal and expected, as fresh grease is used to prioritize smooth operation and long-term durability. After a few rides, the grease will break in and the pedals will spin more freely. Periodic greasing helps maintain consistent feel and performance—thicker grease extends service intervals, while lighter grease increases free-spin but requires more frequent maintenance. We recommend adding grease every 3 months with heavy use.
The crampon pedals are very thin and comfortable, with exceptional grip, and they are also very beautiful.

These pedals are sweet! Nice and light and they have a few extra pegs which makes a lot of difference in the grip when you need it.

The Ultimate pedals are so thin, light and sturdy. I wouldn't ride any other pedal. I have them in multiple colors on several of my bikes.
