BREAK-IN PERIOD: It is normal for Canfield Crampon pedals to feel “stiff” when new or after a rebuild, especially compared to the used, worn-out pedals they are replacing. Pedals will break in and spin more freely after a few rides.
These pedals are sleek, the low profile makes them great for reducing strikes on rocks and such. Massive grip and the different pin sizes are genius. After having them for years I have rebuilt them a couple times after some crashes and they always feel like new every time. Highly recommend.

Been using these pedals for about 7 years. Trouble free, great grip, haven't lost a pin yet. Stand up to plenty of rock bashes with minor scraping. Getting a new bike and bought another set. The thin leading edge really helps reduce pedal strikes. Great product if you want to ride flats

I usually use clips but got these to spend some time on flats. Haven't used them yet but the seem good. High quality.
I really love these pedals. They are beautiful and have a slim leading edge and are light. I swapped out the pegs for 10mm to make them a little more sticky and they are perfect now.
Great pedals! Still getting used to the platform, but confidence inspiring and no slipping yet!
