love the single speed, perfect for where I ride, fast, supple, corners terrific, playful, jumps well. would like to try it as a 27.5
Hi Kevin,
Stoked to hear this. The Nimble 9 as a singlespeed is such a fun setup, especially when the trails reward that fast, playful feel.
Thanks for riding Canfield and for sharing the feedback.
This bike takes a trail you have ridden a 100 times and makes it fun again. A perfect NICA coach bike! Awesome for chasing the fast kids or jibbing behind the slower ones. I am tempted to get the Ti version, but it would be hard to improve on this steel beauty.
Hey Punkmundy,
Stoked to hear the NIMBLE 9 is bringing trails back to life! Sounds like it’s doing exactly what it’s meant to — keeping things fun whether you’re chasing the fast kids or jibbing with the slower ones. Totally get the temptation to go Ti, but steel has a way of winning hearts over and over, and you’re still riding a legend. Really glad you’re loving it!
Absolutely beautiful bike
Hey Jacob, Appreciate it! Stoked you’re loving the Ti Nimble 9. It’s a beautiful piece of metal magic. Awesome to hear you’re as happy on it as we are.
My new Ti Nimble 9 just arrived and I’m building it up now. It a beautiful thing to behold.
Hey Justin, Right on,stoked to hear your Ti Nimble 9 has landed! That frame’s a beauty! Can’t wait to see it built up and ready to shred. Welcome to the Canfield family — you’re gonna love how it rides.
Stopped by the shop in Poncha Springs, Lance and company helped me pick all my parts for the build and hooked me up my dream hardtail! Nimble 9 does it all and looks good doing it.
Hey James,
That’s some serious stoke—“Dopest dope” might be the best Nimble 9 review yet. Stoked Lance and the crew helped you put together that dream build. Props on the awesome rig, and thanks for riding Canfield—ride it hard and enjoy every mile!
I recently picked up the Nimble 9 Frame for the wife as a fun do-it-most adventure bike. I set it up singlespeed with a mix of XT/SLX bits and 2.6 Rekon tires and set her on her way. She's loving it so far. I hopped on it, despite it being a size too small for me, and am impressed at how compliant the bike feels. I have a Chameleon for my SS hardtail and while the geo is more aggressive the ride does feel a bit harsher than the Nimble 9. Must be the steel :)
The bike built up easy with the only surprise being the IS brake mounts on the rear. Fortunately, I've been biking forever and had some IS to PM adapters in the bike part bin. The color is way nicer in person with the silver flake making the blue pop! Overall we're both really stoked on this bike!
Hey William,
Love this! Sounds like a super fun build for your wife—and stoked to hear the Nimble 9 is hitting the mark for both of you. That steel ride feel really is something else.
Glad the build went smooth (bonus points for having that adapter on hand!). Appreciate the support—enjoy the adventures ahead together!
Loving my Nimble 9! I got the Cherry Cola metal flake finish and it’s a head turner!
I’ve run this both geared and single speed. Handling is great, super quick and responsive.
More people have stopped me to look at this bike than any other.
If you are on the fence about getting a steel frame, just get this one!
Hey Joseph,
Love hearing how much you’re digging the Nimble 9—and that Cherry Cola finish really does turn heads! Sounds like you’ve got it built just right, whether geared or SS.
Appreciate the great feedback—and thanks for sending the pic and repping Canfield out there!
Just built up my new Nimble 9. Build went super easy, and this is going to be an amazing bike. Super excited to put it through its paces. Definitely made the right choice!
Hey Andrew,
Really appreciate the shoutout! Hope you’ve been tearing it up on that Nimble 9 since the build—it sounds like a perfect match.
Glad you’re loving it, and thanks for rolling with us! Cheers!
