I just want to start by saying this was a great design idea in the first place. I could have a 2x or 3x front derailleur if I felt like it. Luckily I decided to shave some weight off by using a 1x drivetrain instead, so this cover plate gives me the peace of mind I need by ensuring I can still decide to do that in the future by protecting the boss and threaded hole from being damaged by tree branches, rocks, and sheer granite faces nearby while riding. Thanks for giving me the opportunity to protect the things that matter.

Glad that little cover is doing its job and keeping the derailleur mount protected out there. And keeping the 2x or 3x option open is never a bad thing, even if you're happily living the 1x life for now.
