The original ultra-thin flat pedal evolved, the Canfield Bikes Crampon Ultimate is our thinnest platform, featuring patented convex shape, ultra-thin leading edges and double-sided pins.

BREAK-IN PERIOD: It is normal for Canfield Crampon pedals to feel “stiff” when new or after a rebuild, especially compared to the used, worn-out pedals they are replacing. Pedals will break in and spin more freely after a few rides.

Nice, thin pedals.

I've had a few pairs of these over the years and like how thin they are. The brass bushings wear, instead of the pedal bodies, but regreasing and maintenance are easy.

Best Platform Pedals - FULL STOP!

I’ve used a lot of different platforms in my time but once I found Canfield Ultimates it was lights out for all the others. They contour to the soles of my feet so well that I feel like I’m surfing or skating sometimes, the bike and I are that connected.
Very durable and pretty much maintenance e free.
Love them and travel with a pair of I ride on any OOT trip.

Love the thin profile and excellent grip. Fewer rock strike and excellent durability. These pedals are now on every bike ridden by my family. They also make excellent gifts for bike riding friends.
