The anti-gravity gravity machine. Introducing the ONE.2, an all-new 29er downhill/freeride bike from the fun junkies at Canfield. Built around 29-inch wheels and the patented Canfield Balance Formula™ suspension platform, the ONE.2 is a DH weapon engineered to take on the roughest race tracks and biggest bike-park lines with confidence. And thanks to the ultra-efficient CBF™ tuned linkage, it pedals like nothing with 8 inches of travel should to ensure nothing is wasted, whether you’re sprinting across the finish line or into the next jump.
Channeling the pedigree of the original Canfield The One, the ONE.2 is designed to be as versatile as it is capable. By default, it’s a 29-inch downhill bike with 203 millimeters of travel. But if big hits are your priority and you don’t have access to chairlifts and shuttles, it can be set up to earn its turns. Rear travel can be reduced to 190 millimeters by short-stroking the shock. Pair it with a 180-millimeter fork and a dropper post, and you’ve got a pedal-able freeride machine that’s part monster truck, part billy goat.
Wagon wheels not your thing? The ONE.2 is designed to be run with 27.5 wheels as well. Mullet bike? The ONE.2 has no problem mixing business in the front with a party in the back.
A slack 63-degree head-angle and generous reach across all sizes make it easy to find the sweet spot in the attack position, and 17.3-inch chainstays strike a balance between stability and agility. Premium Öhlins suspension complements the ride qualities of CBF™. Details like internal cable routing featuring machined interchangeable ports to accommodate different cable configurations and a custom CBF™ chainstay protector tie it all together.
The 2020 Canfield ONE.2 is available in Bentonite Grey with orange links, or Avalanche White with black links.
FACTORY BUILD
Our goal for factory builds is to offer the best blend of performance and value possible, to put together bikes we would ride without any “take-off” parts at a realistic price. Our philosophy is to spec high-end parts where it matters, and create value on components that won’t detract from the ride.
For the ONE.2, we prioritized downhill performance and ride quality with an emphasis on the ‘touch points’ of the build. We selected premium Öhlins suspension to complement the characteristics of CBF™. We chose Spank Vibrocore wheels with unique front and rear profiles for the best ride possible. Front and rear specific rims enhance radial compliance and reduce weight up front while increasing responsiveness and durability on the rear. A Spank Spike Vibrocore bar further smooths out the ride. A SRAM XO1 shifter provides crisp, precise gear changes, while we were able to save money on consumable drivetrain components like a SRAM GX derailleur and CS cassette to offer a better value on the build without sacrificing performance. Powerful SRAM Code R brakes keep it all in check.

Photos of bike/spec may vary slightly from actual spec based upon pre-production frame and availability of parts. Any substituted parts will be of equal or greater value than original option listed. Complete bikes ship as a frame and build kit. While frames are prepped, reamed, chased and faced, they do require experienced assembly. If you are not confident in fully assembling and tuning your new Canfield bike, we recommend visiting your favorite local bike shop.
Please note that shipping rates for frames will include insurance, but our default shipping rates for complete bikes does not include insurance. Please email us if you would like to add insurance to your complete bike build (typically $35-$45).
